The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) is an entry-level credential offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). It is designed for individuals looking to start a career in project management or take on larger project responsibilities within their organization. Our CAPM® certification training equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully pass the exam.
CAPM® stands for Certified Associate in Project Management. It validates your foundational understanding of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
CAPM® is intended for beginners or professionals with limited project management experience, focusing on basic concepts and processes. PMP® (Project Management Professional) targets experienced project managers, requiring advanced knowledge, leadership skills, and significant work experience. PMP® certification is generally more valued in the industry due to its higher level of difficulty and prestige.
CAPM® certification strengthens your knowledge of project management fundamentals, boosts your credibility, enhances your employability, and opens doors to entry-level project management roles. It also sets a strong foundation for future career advancements, including pursuing PMP® certification.
The CAPM® exam consists of 150 questions, including 15 unscored pre-test questions. Since you won't know which questions are pre-test items, it's important to approach all 150 questions with equal effort.
The exam duration is three hours.
After earning your CAPM®, you can advance your career by pursuing additional certifications such as PMP® Certification Training, Digital Project Manager programs, PMP® Plus, PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner, PRINCE2® Agile, or even a Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Project Management.
While the CAPM® course covers a wide range of project management concepts, Nvidya’s expert instructors use a structured, beginner-friendly approach. Their extensive experience and clear explanations ensure the course is accessible, even for those new to project management.
