The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is a globally recognized credential that validates an individual’s expertise in Scrum practices. It demonstrates proficiency in applying Scrum principles effectively to drive team collaboration and project success. Offered by Scrum.org, the certification is available in three levels—PSM I, PSM II, and PSM III—each representing a progressive mastery of Scrum knowledge and skills. The certification emphasizes adaptive planning, self-organization, and continuous improvement for managing complex projects.
1. Training
Enroll in Nvidya’s PSM training course to gain a solid understanding of Scrum principles, values, and practices. This training equips you with the skills needed to perform effectively as a Scrum Master.
2. Exam
After completing the training, you’ll receive an exam access code from Nvidya. Use this code to schedule and take the PSM I exam, which consists of multiple-choice questions assessing your Scrum knowledge.
3. Certification
Once you pass the exam, you’ll be awarded the Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org, validating your ability to lead Scrum initiatives and practices within an organization.
• Number of Questions: 80
• Format: Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer, True/False
• Duration: 60 minutes
• Passing Score: 85%
• Mode: Online, open-book
If you take the PSM I exam within 14 days of completing the Nvidya course and do not achieve the required 85%, you’ll receive one free retake. Any additional attempts after the second will require a retake fee per attempt.
