To earn the A-CSM certification, you must meet the following requirements:
Hold an active CSM certification with Scrum Alliance®
Have at least one year of work experience as a ScrumMaster within the past five years.
Get trained
Enroll in the 2-day A-CSM training course from a Global Registered Education Provider of Scrum Alliance, such as Nvidya. After completing the course, you will receive a welcome email from Scrum Alliance.
Validate experience
Log into Scrum Alliance, complete your profile, and accept the License Agreement. Then, validate at least 12 months of ScrumMaster experience within the past five years.
Become an Advanced-Certified ScrumMaster!
After validating your ScrumMaster experience, you will be able to download your A-CSM® certification immediately. Congratulations, you are now an Advanced Certified ScrumMaster!
To unlock your Nvidya certificate, you must attend and complete one full batch of the training.
No, there is no exam for the A-CSM certification. Simply attend the 2-day training program and meet the eligibility criteria to unlock your certificate.
The A-CSM certification is valid for two years. To renew:
Pay a renewal fee of $175, which extends your certification for another two years.
Earn 30 Scrum Educational Units (SEUs) within the past two years through educational training or learning opportunities.
Renewing your A-CSM certification will automatically renew all other Scrum Alliance certifications as well. To renew, log in to the Scrum Alliance website.
